In Shopware 5, a known problem has still not been resolved: If you create an article with mutually dependent variants with mutually exclusive configuration options, it can happen that some combinations cannot be selected in the front end and therefore cannot be ordered. With the help of a plugin, the problem can be easily fixed at the moment.
The following simple example illustrates this: The following example article has the variant groups "bottle size" (0.5L, 1L, 5L) and "width" (30cm, 60cm, 12mm), whereby of the 9 possible combinations only the following 6 are available:
The standard configuration is now correctly displayed in the front end:
If you change the bottle size to 1L, Shopware jumps back to the standard version (since the combination 1L and 30cm does not exist). The following small plug-in, which I published in the Shopware Community Store, solves the problem: Repair variant changes .
