Language and logic

There's a beautiful song by Cali Rose called "It Is What It Is and It Ain't What Is Ain't ." This can be simplified to "It is what it is and it isn't what it isn't." With just a few words, entire worlds of truth can be explored. By varying and combining the two halves, a small playground for logic emerges. Now you can take this sentence and find other interesting examples.

Language and logic are inextricably intertwined: What seems banal at first glance reveals, upon closer inspection, insights into the nature of truth. In the end, we always come back to the classic: "It is what it is." Perhaps that's the deepest meaning of it all: The world may be crazy, logic may be confusing—but a good, simple sentence that makes us shrug always saves us. So, chin up: It is what it is.
